Takahata-Fudoson Kongoji
Distinguished with a five-storey pagoda in Hino City, Takahata-Fudoson Kongoji is the family temple of Hijikata Toshizō. Though he was buried at Sekidenji, his mortuary tablet has been kept at Dainichi-dō Hall of Kongoji. Some of the valuables on the Shinsengumi and bakumatsu are also exhibited at the Okuden Hall.

At the entrance of the Temple, it stands a bronze statue of Hijikata Toshizō and the stone monuments for him and his comrade-in-arms Kondō Isami. The commercial store opposite the Temple has its wall prominently painted the portrait of vice-commander, looking at the Kongoji from a distance. It is certainly a kind gesture to pay respect to him alongside the Temple.
